Shirley's in Roanoke, Virginia, is an expansive log home nestled in a lush mountainside, a short distance from the Science Museum of Western Virginia Hopkins Planetarium. the all-in suite I stayed in featured a spacious living room with a cozy fireplace, a private bathroom with a shower/bath combo, and a delightful Southern-style breakfast served fresh each morning. Cheryl and Jeff, the perfect hosts, provided a warm and inviting atmosphere, ensuring every detail was immaculate. the housekeeping was impeccable, and the personalized touches throughout the B&B made our stay truly exceptional. the outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace added to the overall rejuvenating experience. My travel companions and I relished the delicious breakfast offerings, from fresh fruits to hot plates, which catered to our varied tastes. the serene ambiance of the smoke-free environment and the attentive service from the hosts truly made this a memorable retreat. We can't wait to return and bask in the comfort inside and the beauty of the grounds outside at Shirley's.
